Job description

Account Opening & servicing activities relating to onboarding of customers and ongoing maintenance of existing customers
Back-office tasks related to credit administration of the CMB & GB customer base
Work on all Regional projects assigned by BO, CDD & Credit Business Services
Preparation and submission of various regulatory reports to the Central Bank of Kuwait
Ensure departmental procedures are compliant with local regulatory requirements, as well as HSBC Group policies
To maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, compliance with Diary Watch/Management Control checks together with any issues raised by external regulators
Providing support to both Lines of Business “CMB & GBM” ensuring CDD, KYC, FATCA & CRS information is up to date in customer mandates and all Core Banking systems such as HUB, HFE,…etc.
Implement the Group Compliance policy locally by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators
By implementing anti-money laundering policy and procedures, ensuring an adequate understanding of all relevant anti-money regulations applicable to business and generally assisting with the resolution of related compliance issues
Roles & Responsibilities

Checking of corporate account opening documents and opening of accounts in line with established procedures
Handling account servicing activities for existing customers
Ensuring that all customers mandates are updates as per the latest documents provided both LOBs ARM/RMs
Setting up of facilities in accordance with CARM approvals and as per established procedures
Prepare Facilities Offer Letter and Security Documents
Help support the Bank meet its revenue targets
Efficient and accurate production of regulatory reporting
Working with GSC for the timely preparation of Facility Offer Letters and relevant security documents in accordance with the approved CARM.
Proactively identify opportunities to maximize revenue collection. Ensure fees / charges such as, management fee, standing instruction, statements and Balance confirmation requests are collected promptly and accurately.
Mitigate credit losses by proactively following up with RMs to rectify outstanding documentation.
Liaising with the Business teams for resolving documentation discrepancies and follow up action taken
Timely production and submission of reports to the Central Bank of Kuwait
Streamlining reporting processes to improve operational efficiency
Be creative and have automation ideas to improve the current reports and reduce manual data production
Experience And Qualifications



2-5 years career experience.
University degree
Strong English language skills (reading and written)
Arabic language skills (reading and written)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Negotiation skills
Computer skills
Financial services experience
